MY ADVISORY APPROACH

First understand. Then think it through. Then structure.

Good advice does not begin with a ready-made solution — it begins with the right questions. What does my client actually want to achieve? What economic, personal or strategic objectives lie behind a decision? And how can these be implemented in a way that makes sense and remains sound in the long term?

I approach companies and business decisions as an interconnected system. Tax questions can rarely be assessed independently of shareholding structures, contracts, financing, internal processes, international markets or personal life decisions.

My aim is to recognise these connections, think through the different structuring options and develop an economically sound, tax-optimised and legally coordinated overall structure from them.

I believe in solutions.
“I am convinced that solutions can be found even for complex challenges. You need to be willing to ask questions, understand the connections and look for new approaches. Because sometimes the best solution is found where you would not have looked first.”

UNDERSTANDING COMPANIES FROM THE INSIDE

More than 25 years of advisory experience have shaped the way I look at businesses.

During my seven years at PwC, I came to know companies of different sizes and international scope from the inside. Through audits and advisory projects, I analysed and assessed business processes, contractual structures and internal control systems — from procurement, production and sales to HR, finance and corporate governance.

This experience allows me not only to assess tax regulations, but also to understand the operational context in which they apply.

In my subsequent advisory work, I have brought this knowledge into the practical design of corporate and ownership structures, investments and international business models.

THINKING INTERNATIONALLY. RECOGNISING CONNECTIONS.

My international perspective is not based solely on professional projects.

I have lived, studied and worked in Russia, Mongolia, Denmark and the United States — including five years in the United States.

The experience of different cultures, economic systems and ways of thinking continues to shape my advisory work today. I therefore approach international decisions not solely from the perspective of individual national tax and legal systems, but in the context of the economic and personal objectives of my clients.

I think beyond national borders and individual tax questions. I look at the overall picture — and develop solutions that fit the business, the people and their long-term objectives.

Professional Background

She began her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Germany in January 2001 and spent seven years in audit, focusing on medium-sized and large internationally operating companies.
